Lydia has a wholesome essence, combining mature dependability with a natural warmth and friendliness which draws people in. Her solid presence and confidence are tempered by a youthful playfulness, observable in her twinkling eyes and infectious, dimpled smile. At home in both comedy and drama, she brings an energetic, honest, and approachable persona to all of her roles. Her healthy, athletic build, with her advanced dance and martial arts training, makes her ready to tackle any physical requirements.

Raised and homeschooled in Michigan, Lydia has developed a great love of the outdoors. In her free time, Lydia can be found hiking, biking, golfing, or exploring nature at one of the many parks in her community. She also enjoys cooking and baking and has a strong interest in health, nutrition, and fitness. A bit of a gamer girl, she can often be found gaming online, playing board and card games with her family, or at the comic book store playing “Magic the Gathering.”

Lydia has an extensive background in all styles of dance, which she began at three years old. Beyond competing with her local dance studio, she is an active member of the Detroit Tap Repertory. Along with DTR, she has also performed with Tap Dance Detroit and Tap 24.7 in major shows throughout the Detroit and Cleveland areas, including the Detroit Pistons Halftime Show, American’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Motor City Soles, House of Blues Cleveland, TapSpeak, Murder at the Tap’Ocho, and Beatles on Tap. Always moving, Lydia’s physical training also includes Tae Kwon Do, kickboxing, acrobatics, and yoga.

Lydia’s acting training includes prestigious theater programs and great film acting coaches. She has trained with Interlochen Center for the Arts summer theater program, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) program Dynamic Acting for Young Actors, and many classes with acting coaches from New York and LA, including weekly classes with Mark Tillman and Todd Karner. Her film credits include a leading role in the film The Thing from the Factory by the Field, directed by award winner Joel Potrykus. She has also been seen in a recurring role in the web-series Sonder and supporting roles in the short films The Autumn Girl, Digger’s Folly, and Pariah. In 2021 Autumn Girl, directed by Kyle Misak, won the Cannes International Independent Film Festival (СIIFF) Grand Prize Short Film. She is excited to have been cast as a lead in the upcoming show Quantum Ink.
